Cuts

Three moves. About thirty seconds.

  1. 01

    Type the word

One word, a phrase, or a whole sentence. In sentence mode every word gets its own run of cuts and is found where it naturally appears in the copy.

  2. 02

    Pick the pages

Newspaper, encyclopedia, search results, social posts, forum threads, book pages. Mix them, set the pace, drop in a track and cut on its beat.

  3. 03

    Export

MP4 up to 4K and 60 fps, WebM with transparency, GIF, or a PNG sequence for your editor. Rendered frame by frame on your device, so every cut lands exactly.

Questions, answered.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no ads.

Does anything get uploaded?

No. Pages are laid out and videos are encoded in your browser. Music you add stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

What is a text match cut?

A rapid run of shots where the same word stays in the same place on screen while the page around it keeps changing. It is the punctuation of documentary-style short video.

Which formats can I export?

MP4 (H.264 with AAC audio), WebM (VP9, with transparency where your browser supports it), GIF, and a ZIP of PNG frames plus a WAV of the soundtrack for editing software. Resolutions from 720p to 4K at 24, 30 or 60 fps, depending on what your browser's encoder supports.

Why does my word look different on every cut?

That is the effect: the typeface, the page and the surrounding words change while the word holds its place. Choose "Keep one" under Typefaces if you want the same face throughout.

Can I change a single cut?

Yes. Select it in the strip under the preview to reroll its layout, lock it, give it a different page, move it or remove it. Shuffle all keeps locked cuts.

Can I share a project?

Copy share link puts every setting, including per-cut edits, into the address. Anyone opening it gets the same video. Music is not included.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. The videos you make are yours to use.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile. Fast frame-exact export uses WebCodecs; older browsers fall back to recording in real time.
